Job Description:
- The Supply Chain Services Tech II will support our Tecsys POU implementation initiative.
- Will be required to be on site at hospital location each day.
- Will be required to travel to multiple Client facilities in North and Central Texas.
- Some overnight travel may be required.
- Will be required to confirm the functionality of product barcodes (GTIN data) within the Tecsys system.
- Tests the barcode within the Tecsys system.
- Identify barcodes that do not work through scanning.
- Captures photos of GTIN/barcode data.
- Works with the Supply Chain Strategic data test on GTIN data resolution within the Ivalua ERP system.
- Works with the on-site Supply Chain Operations team to access all areas in Product.
- Works with the on-site Supply Chain Operations team to identify any specific items / concerns that need to be addressed.
- Supports go-live of implementation for GTIN issues.
- Maintains orderly and organized work area to facilitate efficient processes and staff cross-training opportunities.
- Picks up equipment as needed.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending
- Rare occasions of squatting and/or crawling
- Continuous ability to engage in fine manipulation and simple grasping
- Continuous ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist
- Continuous ability to lift up to 20 pounds from waist to over-the-head routinely
- Continuous ability to carry up to 25 pounds
- Routine use of hospital lifting aids such as hand-trucks, pallet jacks, and other powered warehouse equipment as required
- Routine pushing and/or pulling of hospital transport carts with weight up to 150 pounds
- Routine use of step-stools, ladders as required
- Some sitting required for clerical-oriented desk work.
