Job Title: Patient Access Representative – Surgical Scheduling
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday | 7.5 hours/day | 37.5 hours/week
Hourly rate: $21/hour on W2 negotiable
Role Overview:
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for providing high-quality front-line customer service, handling patient scheduling (including surgical cases), verifying insurance, and ensuring accurate patient demographic data entry. The ideal candidate is proficient in using Epic and brings at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Location: Brooklyn, NY

- Familiarity with third-party insurance requirements and Medicaid eligibility
- Ability to maintain and manage accurate patient records
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and departmental procedures
- Skilled in surgical scheduling and coordination
