Location: Englewood, NJ 07631
Duration: 3 Months+ with possibility of an extension

Shift: Monday 8 am – 3 pm, Tuesday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Wednesday 8 am – 3 pm, Thursday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 8 am – 4 pm
 
Job Description:
The phlebotomist I performs routine laboratory tasks to assist professional staff and ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires precision, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols in handling specimens and laboratory equipment.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform specimen collection with a focus on quality and safety, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patient’s presence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimens according to established guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a professional environment.
• Support multiple locations as needed, including occasional travel and flexible scheduling.

 
Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume setting and manage multiple priorities.
• Customer service and keyboard/data entry experience.
