Medical Assistant
Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Oak Creek, WI, 53154
Duration: 07/14/2025 – 10/23/2025
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: 5 days/week, 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, no weekends required, local candidates preferred
Job Summary:
• Supports pre-visit planning, standard rooming duties, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions
• Collaborates with the provider throughout the patient’s visit to ensure comfort and efficiency
• May float and cross-train as needed to support clinic operations
• Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years formal on-the-job Medical Assistant experience
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One of the following required:
– Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program
– Graduate of a non-CAAHEP/ABHES Medical Assistant program
– Military Medic/Corpsman training
Licensure & Certifications:
• Currently holds at least one of the following:
– Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
– Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
– Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE)
• AHA BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Certification through AAMA or equivalent board is preferred
Schedule Notes:
• 13-week contract
• Clinic open 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Shift timing may vary
• No weekends, no on-call
