Job Title: Patient Services Representative I / Phlebotomist
Duration: 3 months
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Shift: 8am-5pm M-F With rotating weekends

Overview:
As a Patient Services Representative I, you will be the front-line representative of our organization, working directly with patients to collect blood specimens for routine and critical lab tests. This role requires a focus on safety, accuracy, and delivering a compassionate, professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process blood specimens with precision and care

• Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality

• Clearly explain procedures and build patient trust

• Adhere to safety protocols and standard procedures

• Support day-to-day lab operations and promote a team-focused environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

• At least 6 months of phlebotomy or medical experience (Required); 1+ year preferred

• Phlebotomy certification (Required in CA, NV, WA; preferred in other states)

• Proficient in pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy techniques

• Strong data entry skills and familiarity with medical systems

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
