Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer (ECHO)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week



Position Overview

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-driven Cardiac Sonographer who knows their way around echocardiography like a pilot knows the cockpit. This role is all about delivering high-quality, non-invasive cardiac imaging while driving patient experience and clinical excellence. You’ll operate in a tech-forward environment, backed by structured protocols, ongoing training, and a collaborative clinical team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform non-invasive echocardiography procedures with precision and consistency
  • Generate high-quality diagnostic images and accurate data using advanced ultrasound equipment
  • Review patient history and ensure proper documentation prior to procedures
  • Educate patients and families on testing procedures to ensure clarity and comfort
  • Evaluate imaging orders and recommend revisions when clinically appropriate
  • Maintain strong communication with physicians, care teams, and department staff
  • Manage workflow efficiently, including add-ons and urgent cases
  • Ensure patient readiness and coordinate timely exam execution
  • Maintain equipment functionality and report maintenance needs proactively
  • Uphold quality assurance standards and participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with evolving protocols, technologies, and continuing education requirements
  • Contribute to peer reviews and departmental collaboration


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of ECHO (Transthoracic Echocardiography) experience
  • Registered in modality:
    • ARDMS (RDCS) or
    • CCI (RCS)
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Working knowledge of imaging technology, DICOM standards, and EMR systems
  • Familiarity with accreditation, credentialing, and quality assurance processes
