Job Title: Staff Pharmacist
Location: Byfield, MA
Duration: 3 months contract (possible extension)
# of Positions: 2
Pay range: $53 - $55/hr. on W2
Location: These positions will be fully onsite at the Byfield, MA location - candidates must be locally sourced. The office will be moving to Newburyport, MA within the few months
Schedule: Week one only 9 am to 5:30pm M-F for training
Five days M-F
2 shifts 9 am to 5:30 pm
3 shifts 12:30 am to 9 pm
OR
Four days M-F
1 shift 9 am to 7:30 pm
3 shifts 10:30 am to 9 pm

Job Description:
- Interprets physicians' prescriptions and compounds and dispenses medications within regulatory guidelines.
- Consults with customers regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions.
- Counsels customers and handles complex problem resolution.
- Performing first and second verification of prescription orders, performing DUR’s, outreach to prescriber offices.
- Fielding phone calls from patients as well as prescriber’s offices
Skills:
- Accurate, efficient and excellent customer service skills
- At least one year as a registered pharmacist, retail or similar experience preferred
Education:
- Requires a RPh license.
- The candidate should have a Pharm D or bachelors in Pharmacy AND licensed in MA.
Additional Notes:
- Onsite roles x2 at Byfield, MA location
- Covering for concurrent Leave for x2 workers
- Generally no weekends, but may have occasional weekend work (but granted weekday off in exchange)
- Will offer training
- No Compounding functions expected but MUST have patient advisory (usually on the phone), ie: advising on medications etc.
- Registered Pharmacy License in MA will be REQUIRED
- PharmD is a plus but not required
- Seeking a Pharmacist, not Technician
- Must have ability to commute to Byfield location easily – ideal locations would be Boston vicinity
- Retail Background preferred vs Hospital or Clinical exp
