Duration: 24 Months+
 
Position Overview:
On-site Technical Writer role supporting the Assay Development team. The position focuses on creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation including SOPs, protocols, and reports, using established templates and documentation control systems.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and finalize SOPs, protocols, and reports related to assay development.
 - Work extensively with MS Word templates for report and document formatting.
 - Collaborate closely with two Scientists and Hiring Manager (Kim Sparks) to gather data and document experimental findings.
 - Manage document creation, review, and approval workflows within EDMS (Electronic Documentation Management System) and DCS (Document Control System).
 - Ensure all documents comply with internal and regulatory documentation standards.
 - Participate in discussions and reviews to ensure scientific accuracy and clarity.
 
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific discipline (Biology, Biochemistry, or related field).
 - Experience: 0–5 years of relevant industry experience; minimum 1 year of technical writing in a regulated/scientific environment preferred.
 - Strong proficiency in technical writing—core focus of this role.
 - Experience writing and editing SOPs and other controlled documents.
 - Familiarity with DCS / EDMS is a strong plus.
 - Excellent command of MS Word and formatting in structured templates.
