Job Title: Provider Contracting Lead Analyst
Location: Fully Remote (Open to candidates in Eastern & Central Time Zones)
Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25 - $31/hr. on W2
Job Summary:
The Provider Contracting Lead Analyst is responsible for evaluating manufacturer rebate agreements, interpreting clinical rules, and determining client eligibility. This role involves advanced data handling, strong analytical thinking, and high proficiency with Access and Excel. Candidates must be able to work under tight deadlines, manage large datasets, and provide consultative support for formulary rebate processes.

Candidates must be able to work under tight deadlines, manage large datasets, and provide consultative support for formulary rebate processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret rebate requirements outlined in manufacturer rebate agreements to assess client eligibility based on clinical rules and criteria.
- Analyze large datasets and apply eligibility logic accurately.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of manufacturer contracts to communicate changes affecting rebate eligibility.
- Mastery expected for less complex contracts.
- Collaboration and support available for medium- to high-complexity contracts.
- Develop expertise in Formulary Rebate Processing systems to support contract setup and configurations.
- Provide professional support for Benefit-Driven Rebate Optimization assignments and projects.
- Perform other duties essential to the rebate optimization process.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of pharmacy benefits experience (PBM preferred)
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret large data sets
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically:
- Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, functions, data models)
- Access (queries, relational databases)
- Familiarity with SQL is a strong plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical reasoning
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and follow up consistently
- Ability to manage workload in a fully remote environment (EST/CST)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
