Pay Rate: $37.14/hr. on W2

Schedule:
Pay Rate: $71/hour. on W2 (negotiable)
Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates

Schedule:
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Days: 2–3 days per week (possible weekends)
Pay Rate: $71/hour. on W2 (negotiable)

Role Overview:
- Operate and prepare specialized MRI equipment to perform diagnostic magnetic imaging procedures.
- Apply technical expertise to obtain high-quality images following protocols and patient-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI imaging procedures with accurate patient positioning and coil placement.
- Educate patients on procedures, safety, and instructions.
- Review patient safety questionnaires before scanning.
- Ensure MRI images are correctly labeled and technically acceptable.
- Transmit images to PACS and complete documentation promptly in IDX (Radiology Information System).
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the MRI room and equipment.
- Manage supplies and accessories necessary for MRI procedures.
- Schedule exams and scan patient-related documents.
- Report on equipment issues or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Assist physicians as required and call in-patients when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in professional development and maintain licensure compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required Education & Certification:
- Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved Radiologic Technology program
- NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology
- A.R.R.T. MRI Registry certification
- BCLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, physical sciences, and MRI physics
- Excellent technical skills in MRI operation and imaging
- Minimum 2 years MRI experience preferred
