Paint-Coating Quality Technician

Job Title: Paint-Coating Quality Technician
Location: Bowling Green, KY 42101
Duration: +12 months (With high possibility of extension)

Schedule: Second shift - 3:00 PM to 11 :30 pm

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 2nd shift technical service assistance.
  • Manage the chemical mixing room, including:
    • Checking viscosities
    • Monitoring temperatures
    • Testing pH levels
  • Track, route, and collect data on cars after painting, including:
    • Film build
    • Appearance
    • Color
    • Other paint-related metrics
  • Compile daily reports and distribute to customers.
  • Conduct periodic inventories of all supplied products.
  • Collect data for various lines, including:
    • Final line
    • Paint final repair
    • CARE line
Education:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of paint shops/painting preferred (training will be provided).
  • Ability to distinguish colors (color blindness not acceptable).
Software Proficiency:
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Strong customer service aptitude and teamwork skills.
Organizational Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
Communication Skills:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
