Job Title: Data Steward
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268
Duration: 6 Months+ assignment (possibility of extension based on demand)

Overview:
  • This role requires someone with strong SAP skills to help keep our master data accurate and our systems running smoothly.
  • They will be working to support our production lines by managing product information in SAP and other key systems.
 
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Data Management (CRITICAL - SAP Experience Required!):
  • Set up and update product recipes and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP.
  • Create and manage change requests for new or modified items in SAP.
  • Check and fix new product setups from external partners (Genpact) in SAP.
  • Ensure all details like category codes, storage locations, and other settings are correct.
  • Help solve common SAP issues related to product data, such as fixing errors in BOMs.
  • Send product recipes to the production system (MES) when needed.
Product Information & Recipe System Support:
  • Enter and update product details in central product information systems (like Client).
  • Maintain information such as shelf life, destination, and production line settings.
  • Help set up recipes in the Recipe Site system, ensuring production details are accurate.
  • Update packaging information in the Access Anywhere system.

Monitoring & Coordination:
  • Monitor emails to ensure external teams complete product setup tasks.
  • Check product formulas for alignment between TIMs, SAP, and production requirements.
  • Support basic setup for product trials and ensure documentation is in place.
  • Attend team meetings and provide status updates on assigned work.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Solid, hands-on experience with SAP, especially with product data (BOMs, Recipes).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
