Role Overview:
The Scientist will support Technical Support objectives by conducting non-routine laboratory experiments focused on PCR assay troubleshooting, reagent analysis, and method development. This role involves investigative research to address customer complaints and technical issues, with results translated into reports and presentations for non-scientific audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct lab-based investigations to resolve technical issues with PCR assays and reagents.
- Design, plan, and execute troubleshooting activities and research projects.
- Accurately record data and interpret results using sound scientific reasoning.
- Communicate findings through investigational reports and internal presentations.
- Establish priorities, manage project timelines, and report progress to stakeholders.
- Prepare internal project updates and participate in comprehensive status reviews.
- Ensure compliance with internal safety protocols and external regulatory guidelines (e.g., OSHA).
- Contribute to process improvements by reinforcing new methodologies and scientific thinking.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry or laboratory experience.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PCR techniques and troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate scientific findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety guidelines in a lab environment.
