Scientific - Technician II (Weekend Value Stream) - 3 Day (Fri-Sun)

Job Title: Production Technician
It is 3 day a week, The hours are 7am-7:30pm Fri Sat Sun.
Job Summary:
The Technician is responsible for custom manufacturing oligonucleotides according to customer specifications. This includes synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, and quality control (QC) sampling, while maintaining strict adherence to lab procedures, safety regulations, and production timelines.
Responsibilities:

Synthesize oligonucleotides using automated platforms

Perform cleavage, deprotection, and attach modifications using standard methods

Quantify and sample products for QC analysis

Analyze QC data and determine pass/fail status
-
Maintain accurate documentation for each batch

Follow SOPs and safety protocols strictly

Support other departments by preparing oligos for further processing or shipping

Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment
Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
-
Associate's Degree or high school diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience required

Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field preferred

Required Skills & Experience:
-
-
1-2 years of lab experience preferred
-
Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel)

Experience working with lab automation and custom software tools
-
Familiarity with synthesis and purification processes is a plus

Top 3 Required Skills:

Hands-on experience with oligo synthesis and/or lab automation

Strong attention to detail and ability to assess QC data

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintaining detailed lab documentation
