Location: Winter Haven, FL
Duration: 4 months
Shift: M–F, 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM; Every 4th Saturday, 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Summary:
Served as the front-line representative for patient services, delivering high-quality phlebotomy care and customer service. Collected and processed blood specimens for lab testing in a safe and accurate manner while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performed venipuncture and specimen processing (clinical and forensic)

• Created a trusting environment by clearly explaining procedures to patients

• Maintained accurate records and documentation

• Ensured a clean, safe, and professional environment

• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in a fast-paced setting

• Adhered strictly to HIPAA and lab protocols

Skills & Requirements Met:

• Excellent phlebotomy skills across all ages (including pediatric & geriatric)

• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience with data entry and EMR systems

• Reliable transportation and consistent on-time attendance

• Maintained a commute within 20–25 minutes of worksite

Education & Training:

• High School Diploma (required)

• Medical Assistant training (preferred)

• Phlebotomy Certification (preferred but not required in FL)
