Job Title: Project Manager, Marketing Capabilities
Location: Arden Hills. MN
Hybrid Work Schedule: 2-3 days onsite at Arden Hills. MN
Duration: 7 months contract on W2 with Possible opportunity for conversion for the right individual.
Working Hours: 20+ hours/week position with more hours as needed
Pay Range: $50 to $61.29/Hour on W2
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Project Manager to lead and coordinate the planning, logistics, and execution of our upcoming Global Marketing Summit in September. This individual will act as a cross-functional liaison, ensuring seamless collaboration across regions and workstreams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is exceptionally detail-oriented, and has a proven track record of delivering high-profile events on time and within budget. This role will have the opportunity to expand into managing additional initiatives for the Marketing Capabilities team as relevant.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Set up regular check-ins, status meetings, and clear communication protocols with all stakeholders.
• Track action items, dependencies, and elevate risks proactively to ensure smooth execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with internal Marketing teams to align on strategy, content, and logistics.
• Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and venues as needed.
• Ensure regional teams are informed and engaged to localize summit strategies if applicable.
Event Logistics & Execution:
• Oversee all event logistics including scheduling, technical production, onsite events, and presenter prep.
• Lead day-of-event operations and troubleshooting to ensure seamless delivery.
Communications & Reporting
• Create and manage a communications calendar with internal updates and stakeholder reporting.
• Maintain centralized documentation and provide ongoing status updates to leadership.
• Lead post-event debriefs and compile performance reports, insights, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in marketing, communications, or events.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-regional corporate events or summits.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Trello, or Microsoft Project).
• PMP certification is a plus but not required.
Preferred Attributes:
• Comfortable navigating matrixed organizations and working with global stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on, get-it-done attitude.
• Familiarity with digital and hybrid event platforms (e.g., Cvent, On24, Hopin).
• Enthusiastic about marketing and audience engagement.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
