Length of Assignment: Initially 4 months+ (With Possibility of Extension)
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8 am – 5 pm

This role involves answering phone calls and messages from patients, family members, and others. You’ll help register new patients, schedule appointments, answer questions, resolve issues, and provide information in a friendly and professional way.

Job Summary:
This role involves answering phone calls and messages from patients, family members, and others. You’ll help register new patients, schedule appointments, answer questions, resolve issues, and provide information in a friendly and professional way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register new patients accurately and on time.
- Make sure all patient information is complete and correct in the system.
- Check insurance coverage or explain self-pay options and costs.
- Schedule appointments based on need, requests, and clinic guidelines.
- Explain appointment details and any preparation needed.
- Send messages between patients and healthcare staff.
- Recognize emergency situations and alert medical staff if needed.
- Stay calm and professional when handling upset or frustrated callers.
- Escalate urgent or unresolved issues to the right person.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written).
- Good typing and computer skills.
- Experience in customer service, healthcare, or a call center is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma.
