Job Title: Customer Service Support Representative
Location: Cumberland, RI 02864 (Onsite, Mon - Fri)
Duration: 6 Months+ (Contract With possibility of Extension)

Pay Rate: $18/hr. on W2

Shift: Full-Time, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
 
Key Candidate Requirements (Must Have on Top of Resume):
  • Confirm understanding that this role is ONSITE in Cumberland, RI, 5 days a week
  • Confirm reliable transportation to the worksite
  • Include candidate’s current location and time zone on the resume
 
Position Summary:
This is a support role in a call center environment but without taking inbound calls. The candidate will be responsible for data entry, managing mail, organizing correspondence, and entering receipts into internal systems with hands-on training provided. The role requires working independently with minimal supervision and handling multiple tasks effectively.
 
Key Duties:
  • Data entry and processing within internal systems (accounting and disclosure applications)
  • Opening and organizing mail and correspondence
  • Assisting with insurance verifications and processing paperwork related to patient prescriptions
  • Supporting order processing, insurance coverage verification, and coordinating patient service documentation
  • No direct customer calls, but may assist in follow-ups and internal communications
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant standards
 
Candidate Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service or call center experience (high-volume environments preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Basic alpha-numeric data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, third party vendors) is a plus
  • Experience in healthcare or insurance industry preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
