Duration: 9+ months (Possible Extension) contract

Work Schedule: Part-time, 20 hrs/week
Job Summary:
The contractor will support the Company’s Labor and Human Rights program, implementing initiatives under the guidance of the Director of Compliance. This role requires navigating complex regulatory and social issues across global operations and supply chains, supporting program enhancements, and ensuring compliance with human rights standards. The candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute Human Rights Impact Assessments, risk assessments, audits, training, and reporting.

Job Summary:
The contractor will support the Company’s Labor and Human Rights program, implementing initiatives under the guidance of the Director of Compliance. This role requires navigating complex regulatory and social issues across global operations and supply chains, supporting program enhancements, and ensuring compliance with human rights standards. The candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute Human Rights Impact Assessments, risk assessments, audits, training, and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement refinements and enhancements to the Labor and Human Rights program.
- Execute Human Rights Impact Assessments (HRIAs) across operations, supply chain, and community.
- Conduct supply chain human rights risk assessments for regulatory disclosure compliance.
- Serve as Project Manager for the Human Rights Working Group (HRWG), tracking progress and deliverables.
- Partner with IT and HRWG to design and deploy tools to advance the human rights program.
- Contribute to storybook development for social audits and inspection readiness.
- Assist in developing and delivering training on human rights awareness and Business Partner Code of Conduct.
- Monitor global regulations, perform gap analysis, and assess impact.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree required; BA/BS preferred.

Experience:
- 5+ years in sustainability, corporate responsibility, enterprise risk, human rights, compliance, or supplier due diligence.
- 5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work effectively at all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of key human rights and ESG frameworks (EU CSRD, CSDDD, UK Modern Slavery Act, California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, U.S. Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, OECD Guidance, UN Guiding Principles).
- Strong written/verbal communication, research, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
