Duration: 6 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $20 – $24/hr. on W2
Role Overview:
The Phlebotomist I (also referred to as Patient Services Representative I) is the first point of contact for patients, responsible for drawing quality blood specimens for lab testing. This role requires creating a safe, professional, and trusting environment while performing clinical and forensic specimen collection with accuracy and skill.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing duties accurately and on time.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and organized environment.
- Provide pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy services with confidence.
- Maintain proper records, documentation, and data entry.
- Promote a positive patient experience and uphold organizational standards.
- Flexibly cover weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.
Education & Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred and required in CA, NV, and WA.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred.
- Customer service experience in retail or healthcare preferred.
- Keyboard and data entry experience required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to accuracy and patient safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
