Duration: 2 Months with possibility of an extension
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Mountain Time
Pay range: $25/hr. on W2

The Phlebotomist II is responsible for collecting and preparing blood samples for lab testing while ensuring a positive patient experience. This role involves maintaining a safe and professional environment, accurate record-keeping, and strict adherence to procedures. Successful applicants may work in patient service centers, doctor’s offices, or other locations as needed.
Responsibilities:
Location: Fort Collins, CO

Job Description:
The Phlebotomist II is responsible for collecting and preparing blood samples for lab testing while ensuring a positive patient experience. This role involves maintaining a safe and professional environment, accurate record-keeping, and strict adherence to procedures. Successful applicants may work in patient service centers, doctor’s offices, or other locations as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform specimen collection with a focus on quality and safety, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patient’s presence.
- Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimens according to established guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a professional environment.
- Support multiple locations as needed, including occasional travel and flexible scheduling.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume setting and manage multiple priorities.
- Customer service and keyboard/data entry experience.
