Shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm MST

Job Summary:

• The Patient Services Representative I serves as the primary point of contact for patients, providing high-quality phlebotomy services and ensuring a professional, safe, and positive experience.
• This role includes collecting and processing clinical and forensic specimens, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting daily operations in accordance with established procedures and standards.

• Perform daily tasks accurately, efficiently, and on schedule under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Collect quality blood specimens from patients of all ages (including pediatric and geriatric).
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort, trust, and confidence.
• Maintain required documentation and records with attention to confidentiality and accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and staff.
• Represent the organization positively and uphold company values and leadership behaviors.
• Support staffing needs with flexibility, including availability for weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call assignments.

• Ability to produce accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable keyboarding and data-entry abilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in CA, NV, and WA).

• Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy or related experience required.
• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service settings preferred.
