The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our organization, delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients across various settings including doctor’s offices, patient service centers, and mobile units. The PSR II is responsible for skillfully and safely drawing blood samples and ensuring specimens are accurately prepared for laboratory testing. By following established protocols, the PSR II builds trust with patients and contributes to life-impacting health decisions through precision and professionalism.

Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our organization, delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients across various settings including doctor’s offices, patient service centers, and mobile units. The PSR II is responsible for skillfully and safely drawing blood samples and ensuring specimens are accurately prepared for laboratory testing. By following established protocols, the PSR II builds trust with patients and contributes to life-impacting health decisions through precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily operational activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for patients and team members.
- Execute high-quality phlebotomy procedures (venipuncture, capillary collections) for patients across all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Ensure proper identification and verification of patient demographic data and labeling of specimens in the presence of the patient.
- Maintain and document accurate records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and company policies regarding privacy and information security.
- Foster patient trust by clearly explaining procedures and demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
- Exhibit leadership behaviors and support continuous process improvement and service excellence.
