Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Location: Detroit, MI 48202
Duration: 3 months+ of Contract with (temp-to-hire)

Schedule: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
 
Job Summary:
Under general supervision and according to specified procedures, performs routine laboratory activities such as patient receiving, venipuncture, computer data entry, and other related duties including lab clinical functions. Null
 
Required Education:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

 
Preferred Education:

• Completion of Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomy training program preferred.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Michigan Driver's license and the ability to be insured by a HFMG Insurance Carrier.

 
Required Skills & Experience:

• 6 months to one year on the job experience in venipuncture required.

 
Schedule Details:

• 1 position needed
• 13-week contract
• Location: 2799 W. Grand Blvd., Detroit
• Candidate can see 30 – 60 patients a day
• Comfortable with large draws
• Can use straight needles
• Location does not use butterfly needles
• No candidates with plasmapheresis background
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends
• Hours Per Week: 40.00
• Hours Per Day: 8.00
• Days Per Week: 5.00
