Travel: Respiratory Therapist
Job Title: Travel: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Weekend Nights
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Location: 707 S Edwin C. Moses Blvd, Dayton, OH 45417
Duration: 13 Weeks
Experience Required: 2 years
Position Overview:
The Respiratory Therapist provides cardiopulmonary services, adhering to protocols set by the medical staff and department policies. The role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for inpatients and outpatients, assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, and managing a variety of respiratory treatments.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures.

Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.

Maintain airways and manage ventilators.

Insert arterial lines and perform intubations.

Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.

Perform blood gas analysis.
Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 2 years of recent RT experience, including intubation experience.

Must hold NBRC RRT certification (attach to candidate profile).

Must have an Ohio RT license (attach to resume).

ACLS and BLS certifications required (American Heart Association).
