Job Title: Travel: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Weekend Nights
Job Location: Dayton, OH 45417
Job Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Payrate: $60.00/ hr on w2
Experience Required: 2 years

Position Overview:

• The Respiratory Therapist provides cardiopulmonary services, adhering to protocols set by the medical staff and department policies.
• The role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for inpatients and outpatients, assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, and managing a variety of respiratory treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Insert arterial lines and perform intubations.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests.
• Perform blood gas analysis.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of recent RT experience, including intubation experience.
• Must hold NBRC RRT certification (attach to candidate profile).
• Must have an Ohio RT license (attach to resume).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (American Heart Association).
