Note: STIPEND IS ALSO PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY.
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Salinas, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medications for our patients, while working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Monitor patient responses to prescribed drug treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized medication plans.
• Evaluate potential drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medication records.
• Participate in quality improvement and medication safety initiatives.

 
Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical pharmacy experience (hospital setting required).
• Epic experience required.
