Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift
Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Newington, CT
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 3 months
Pay Rate:$21/hr on w2
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I is responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens while delivering a safe, professional, and positive patient experience. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform clinical and forensic blood draws accurately and safely

Prepare and process specimens according to standard procedures

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment

Provide excellent customer service and build patient trust

Complete daily tasks independently and on time
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)

Strong pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills
-
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

Excellent data entry and keyboarding skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexible availability as needed
