Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Santa Rosa, CA, 95403
Duration: 10 months Project (Possibility of Extension and conversion based upon performance)
Shift/Time Zone: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm Sat rotation every 3 week; training will be in Healdsburg or Sonoma first 3 weeks.
Pay Range: $22.90 - $28.30/hr. on W2

Additional Details:
- State of Credentials License Required: CA CPT
- Need experience and Spanish bilingual.
- Responsible for draw quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
- Direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe, and accurate manner.
- Perform daily activities of the Patient Service Center accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
- Maintains required records and documentation.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric and geriatric.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months experience.
- One(+) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
