Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Tulsa, OK 74136
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Nights
W1: Mon/Tue/Wed 7:00 PM 7:30 AM;
W2: Sun/Mon/Wed 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (with call)

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure cooperation and reduce anxiety
• Retrieve and input radiologic orders into EMR
• Perform imaging using CR/DR techniques following protocols
• Ensure radiation safety using protective techniques and equipment
• Assist across multiple departments including ER, surgery, outpatient imaging, and clinics
• Monitor patients during procedures, including moderate sedation when required
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and maintained
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in quality improvement and departmental education activities
• Assist in obtaining informed consent and follow universal protocol for procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and provide patient-centered care

Requirements:

• BLS certification (AHA)
• ARRT-R certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology)
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• 06 months of related experience
• Knowledge of digital radiography (DR) and/or computerized radiography (CR)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to wear lead apron for extended periods
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills

Preferences:

• EPIC experience
• Level 1 Trauma experience
• Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and responsibilities
