Shift: Days (Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM)

Job Summary:
The Histotechnologist II is responsible for performing routine and specialized histology procedures to support accurate diagnosis. This role involves working with histology instrumentation and handling tissue samples efficiently in a fast-paced lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microtomy, embedding, and special stains procedures
• Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment
• Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination
• Ensure accuracy and quality control in all lab processes
• Work efficiently under time constraints and high-volume workload

 
Required Qualifications:

• ASCP Certification (Required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Strong ability to operate histology instrumentation
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure

 
Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
