Distribution Clerk

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

- Standard start time of 6:00 AM (subject to business needs)

The Distribution Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, reagents, instruments, and finished goods to meet internal manufacturing needs and customer expectations. This role plays a key part in ensuring reliable order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and smooth warehouse operations.

This position reports to the Shipping & Logistics Manager and is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Department, located on-site in El Dorado Hills, CA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Accurately pull and stage domestic, international, and subsidiary customer sales orders from finished goods inventory.
• Properly package and ship customer orders to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time delivery.
• Receive incoming materials and ensure proper identification, handling, and storage.
• Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records using warehouse management and ERP systems.
• Store finished goods and materials in designated warehouse locations following FIFO and inventory control practices.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
• Support manufacturing and distribution workflows by coordinating priorities and daily tasks within the warehouse.
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements applicable to warehouse and shipping operations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, or distribution operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to work reliably on-site and adhere to assigned work schedules.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• No routine travel required.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands to handle materials throughout the workday.
• Work is performed primarily indoors in a warehouse environment with variable noise levels (low to moderate; higher during peak operations).

It would be a plus if you also possess:

• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle).
• Previous shipping/receiving experience in a regulated or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with international shipping documentation or export requirements.
