Job Description: Coordinate lab equipment service, both planned and unplanned.
Assist with obtaining quotes from service providers for upcoming service.
Manage and track work order requests, including contacting service providers to proactively schedule service to meet client Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Assign labels to laboratory equipment ensuring proper identification
Coordinate and prioritize work requests from vendors while meeting deadlines
Routine follow-up and coordination / planning with external service technicians
Uploading certificates and/or Service reports to the appropriate database as services are completed
Maintain a high level of organization and understanding of the pending work requests, and routinely communicate upcoming schedule to end users
Complete inventory of all instruments on site
Responsible for accurate data input into the Client Enterprise Asset Management system and customer's management system
Acquire and review field service reports for accuracy and completeness.
Host visiting service technicians, and ensure expected work is performed as scheduled as well as escorting the technicians to the laboratory.
Conduct site operations in accordance with terms and conditions of program contract and Statement of Work.
Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with clients, service vendors and Client staff.
Carry out all Client and customer security and safety procedures
Travel between sites as needed
Other appropriate duties as assigned by leadership.
