Lead Site Specialist
Job Title: Lead Site Specialist
Location: Waltham, MA 02421
Contract Duration: 6+ months, possible extension
Shift: First shift
Pay Rate: $29-$32/h on W2
Position Overview:
The Lead Site Specialist will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations and ensuring all services and support activities are executed effectively. This role will lead coordination between client teams, vendors, and internal staff to meet operational goals. The position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Operations & Oversight:
- Oversee and coordinate daily site services and ensure tasks are completed on time and to client standards.
- Act as primary point of contact for client requests and escalate issues as needed.
- Provide guidance and leadership to on-site support staff and ensure compliance with company and client procedures.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the client, ensuring satisfaction and proactive service delivery.
- Vendor & Service Coordination:
- Schedule and manage vendor service visits, including escorting technicians and confirming completion of work.
- Monitor and track service requests, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with KPIs.
- Assist with obtaining quotes and coordinating procurement as needed.
- Data & Documentation:
- Ensure proper documentation of service activities in the appropriate systems.
- Maintain records related to equipment service, inventory, and vendor performance.
- Support accurate and timely data entry into enterprise systems.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Conduct site activities in alignment with safety protocols, contractual agreements, and company policies.
- Ensure all site personnel adhere to security and safety procedures.
- Participate in audits or inspections as needed.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma
- 2–4 years of experience in site operations, facilities, or lab support services.
- Experience working in a scientific or regulated environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, EAM).
Nice to have:
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Previous leadership or team coordination experience preferred.
