Pay Rate: $39.28/Hour. on W2

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 6-month contract (possibility for extension)
• Location: 100% Remote (Company based in Arlington Heights, IL)
• Work Shift: 1st Shift

 
Job Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst will drive data-driven initiatives that provide actionable insights to inform strategic business decisions. This role includes managing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from various sources to support:

• Product development
• Marketing and sales optimization
• Broader business strategy

The analyst will work closely with the Manager of Data Analytics, Market Research, and Competitive Intelligence Managers, and will align analytics efforts with business unit initiatives in marketing and product development.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Data Strategy & Management:
  Develop and implement analytics strategies that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and effective use across the organization.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights. Present findings through reports and visualizations.
• Advanced Analytics:
  Apply models and predictive analytics to support:
  • Market forecasting
  • Customer segmentation
  • Competitive analysis
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and strategy teams to align analytics efforts with business goals.
• Data Governance & Quality Control:
  Establish and manage data governance processes to ensure data consistency and quality.
• Performance Measurement:
  Develop KPIs to track effectiveness of strategies and campaigns. Provide regular updates to leadership.
• Tools & Technology Integration:
  Evaluate and implement analytics platforms to improve data processing and reporting.
• Strategic Support:
  Collaborate with the Director of Strategy, Insights, Analytics, and Competitive Intelligence to support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

 
Key Capabilities:

• Advanced analytical skills to evaluate and synthesize complex data sets.
• Proficiency in:
  • Data structuring, cleansing, and transformation
  • Dashboard/report development
• Hands-on experience with tools like:
  • Excel
  • Power BI
  • Tableau
• Experience with data governance, security, and privacy practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Familiarity with healthcare, biotechnology, diagnostics, or other regulated industries.

 
Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Industry Experience:
  • Required: Healthcare, Biotechnology, or Diagnostics
• Professional Experience:
  • 5+ years in analytics with expertise in:
    • Advanced analytics techniques
    • Data management and modeling
    • Strategic business reporting
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Excel, Power BI, Tableau
    • SQL (preferred)
• Track Record:
  • Demonstrated success in delivering data-driven insights that directly impact business decisions.
