Job Title: Patient Services Representative II / Phlebotomist II
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 2 months
Shift: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm

Overview:
The PSR II is the patient-facing professional responsible for drawing and preparing blood specimens accurately and safely. This role builds patient trust, explains procedures clearly, and ensures confidentiality. Assignments may include doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or multiple locations based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens per protocols

• Verify patient information and specimen labeling accuracy

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Promote a safe, professional environment and positive patient experience

• Adapt to flexible schedules, travel between sites, and cover multiple locations as needed

• Demonstrate leadership, sound judgment, and customer-focused communication

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (medical assistant/paramedic training preferred)

• Phlebotomy certification preferred/required in select states

• Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections

• 2+ years in a patient service center environment preferred

• Strong customer service, data entry, and multitasking skills

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)

• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
