Role Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle.
- This role is responsible for driving project execution, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of results related to cost, quality, and outcomes.
- The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable managing complex utility or construction-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project management oversight and direction throughout the full project lifecycle, including:
- Project scoping and initiation.
- Planning and design.
- Permit and easement acquisition.
- Civil and electrical construction.
- Project close-out.
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with accountability for cost, schedule, methods, and outcomes.
- Actively participate in project execution tasks, identifying risks, issues, and solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans.
- Utilize project controls to manage budgets and schedules, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
- Monitor project performance against budget and schedule targets and identify trends or corrective actions.
- Resolve issues, manage priorities, and address conflicts with team members and functional managers.
- Apply core project management concepts while learning and adapting to organizational processes and portfolio requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong working knowledge of project management fundamentals.
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Excel.
- Microsoft Project.
- Microsoft Teams.
- SAP.
- Primavera P6.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Experience in the utility industry, including underground utilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
