Job Overview:
- Assists pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and delivering medications, manages inventory, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Prepares and dispenses medications under pharmacist supervision and maintains records in compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and compound medications, including sterile, oral, topical, controlled, and high-risk types.
- Deliver medications, return unused stock, and operate dispensing systems.
- Document billing, quality control, compliance, and inventory records.
- Respond to pharmacy service requests and assist in training staff.
Facility Requirements:
- Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
- CPhT from PTCB or ExCPT from NHA unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
