PET - CT Technologist

Job Title: PET - CT Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)

Schedule: (1) Monday - Friday, 8am - 4 pm
                  (2) Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm
Department: Nuclear Medicine PET
Pay Rate: $75 - $80/hr. on W2 (Local and Travel both accepted)

**Stipend is also provided to the candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility**
 
Job Summary:

• Performs PET procedures according to the prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy, for the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
• 2 + years as PET/CT Technologist.
• BLS - AHA
• Must be registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board - Nuclear Medicine Tech (NMT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology (N).
• Must possess an active license from the State of New York Department of Health (Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License – Diagnostic with Injection Registered).
• Must possess an active CT certification to perform diagnostic CT and perform PET - CT fusion imaging (ARRT - Computed Tomography (CT)).
• Maintains active Nuclear Medicine, CT licenses and BLS.
• Maintains technical competency through continued education.
