Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: NYC, NY
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Department: Nuclear Medicine PET
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM OR Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Hours per week: 40 hours
Pay Rate: $73/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
The Offsite Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the operation of the Nuclear Medicine Lab, including testing equipment, educating patients and families about procedures, and performing nuclear medicine procedures in compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring proper testing and calibration.
- Educate patients and their families about nuclear medicine procedures to ensure understanding and comfort.
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures accurately and safely according to established protocols.
- Adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) – required (CT/X-ray license not required).
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and patient care.
