Phlebotomist II
Duartion: 4 months
Location: Ringgold GA
Shift: 830-530 M-Thur 8-12 Friday
Overview:
The Patient Services Representative II represents the face of our company to patients, whether they are visiting as part of their routine healthcare or seeking critical health insights. This role is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing, while following all established protocols and ensuring a positive patient experience.
The PSR II is expected to demonstrate strong leadership behaviors, process excellence, and maintain sensitivity to patient confidentiality and information accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily duties accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients.

Collect and process both forensic and clinical specimens confidently and competently.

Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture to confirm tube labeling accuracy.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, colleagues, and the public.
Requirements:
Skills & Abilities:

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Strong customer service and communication skills.
-
Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling (weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call as needed).

Punctuality and full-shift attendance are mandatory.

Must follow all company policies, procedures, and dress code.

Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in termination.
Travel & Transportation:

Must be able to travel to multiple locations with minimal notice.
Training:

Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.

Candidates must be within a 20–25-minute commute of the job site to ensure punctuality and availability for coverage.
Education:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
-
Required: 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
