Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Technician
Location: West Bend, WI, 53095
Duration: 06/30/2025 – 10/02/2025
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: 5 days/week, 40 hours/week, no weekends, no on-call

Job Summary:
• Assist or perform installation, calibration, inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair of basic patient care equipment including patient monitoring, surgical devices, infusion devices, and other diagnostic/therapeutic equipment.
• Promote team dynamics through effective departmental communication and customer interaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues using analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Respond to support requests with urgency; participate in inspections, safety checks, documentation, and after-hours rotation if necessary.
• Perform duties in accordance with the client's Medical Equipment Management Plan; participate in testing, cost control, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:
• Familiarity with medical technology
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Three years of related experience in medical equipment maintenance and repair
• Specialized training in medical technology support
• Skills in repair, installation, maintenance, calibration, and inspection of patient care and diagnostic/therapeutic equipment

Education:
• Associate’s degree in Biomedical or Electrical Technology
OR Military Training in Biomedical or Electrical Technology
OR Two (2) years of Biomedical or Electrical Technology experience

Licensure & Certifications:
• Valid WI driver’s license required
