Phlebotomist II
Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Glassboro, NJ
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay range - $19.85/hr - $21.80/hr
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company, responsible for delivering high-quality specimen collection services. This role involves direct patient contact, requiring strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to ensure patients feel comfortable and confident during their visit.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities under supervisor direction accurately and on time.

Create a safe and professional work environment.

Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection.

Verify patient demographic information and confirm specimen labeling in the patient’s presence.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Promote a positive and professional image to patients, clients, and the public.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and ensure patient confidentiality.
Job Requirements:

Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.

Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and dress code.

Strong decision-making and judgment skills.

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).

Willing to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations on short notice.

Capable of multitasking in a high-volume environment.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Willingness to embrace and adapt to change.
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Note: Training locations may vary depending on trainer availability.
