Overview:
Join a fast-paced, essential production team responsible for handling and processing embryonated eggs for vaccine development. This role supports the delivery, quality inspection, inoculation, and incubation preparation of eggs in a sterile, controlled environment.

Overview:
Join a fast-paced, essential production team responsible for handling and processing embryonated eggs for vaccine development. This role supports the delivery, quality inspection, inoculation, and incubation preparation of eggs in a sterile, controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload and transport carts of eggs (up to 800 lbs) safely, with two-person assistance.
- Inspect and straighten trays of eggs (~5 lbs per tray) rapidly and accurately.
- Load trays of eggs onto conveyors and onto incubation carts (136 trays per cart).
- Rotate between tasks including loading incubation carts, egg straightening, and inspection every 20 minutes.
- Maintain adherence to SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Breakdown, clean, and set up equipment as required before, during, and after production runs.
- Work continuously on feet for 8-10 hour shifts, excluding breaks.
- Comply with sterile environment protocols, including wearing scrubs, hair/beard covers, masks, gloves, and sleeves.
- Work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and potential overtime; days off may be non-consecutive and schedules may rotate.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push/pull heavy carts (up to 800 lbs, two-person required).
- Lift, bend, twist, squat, and perform repetitive motions regularly; capable of lifting 30+ lbs.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods.
Work Environment & Safety:
- Operate within a sterile environment; strict dress code with scrubs, hairnets, beard covers, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and Tyvek suits as required.
- No jewelry, makeup, artificial nails, nail polish, or scented products allowed on the floor.
- Mandatory vaccinations (Flu, Menactra, Yellow Fever) due to working with active viruses.
Qualifications:
- 0–3 years of experience in production or similar physical labor roles preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Strong teamwork skills and adaptability to rotating tasks and schedules.
