Job Title: CT Technologist I
Location: Philadelphia, PA- 19104
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)


Pay Range: $65 - $70/hr. on W2 (Negotiable)
 
Working Hours: Hours Per Week: 36.00/ Hours Per Day: 12.00/ Days Per Week: 3.00
 
Duties:
  • Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations.
  • Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing.
  • Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation
  • Operate CT equipment and select technical factors
  • Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time.
  • Document all related data.
  • Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images, and patient demographics.
  • Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
  • Resolve and escalate complex issues.
  • Orient and train fellow staff technologists.
  • Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations.
  • Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays.
  • Other shifts as assigned
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience is required essential, pediatric experience required, EPIC experience required, and Client experience required.
 
Certification:
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross).
  • Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required.
 
Required Education:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Technical Diploma from a Radiology Program Required
  • Pediatric experience highly required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience is required essential, pediatric experience required, EPIC experience required, and Client experience required.
 
Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging.
  • Basic knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
  • Basic knowledge of radiology information systems.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience is required essential, pediatric experience required, EPIC experience required, and Client experience required.
