Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Clermont, FL
Duration: 3+ months
Shift Timing: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Summary:
The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, professional, and confidential environment while delivering excellent customer service. The PSR I must follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collection (including pediatric and geriatric patients).

• Process and prepare specimens according to standard procedures.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Provide professional, courteous patient service.

• Follow safety, compliance, and confidentiality guidelines.

• Work independently under minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

• Minimum 6 months of direct phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred).

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

• Strong data entry and keyboard skills.

• Customer service experience preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Must live within 20–25 minutes of the worksite (include home city/commute time on resume).

• Reliable personal transportation required.

• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call if needed.

• Must be punctual and available for full shifts.

• If currently a student, schedule must not conflict with shift hours.
