Duties:
Regional Leadership & Strategy
Provide leadership oversight across all operational functions within the region including Sterile
Processing, Transportation, and Facilities
Lead and develop site-level Directors, Managers, and Coordinators across disciplines
Establish regional priorities, performance goals, and operating standards
Align all site operations with company strategy and regional growth initiatives
Drive operational integration across departments to ensure seamless execution
Operations & Compliance Oversight
Ensure consistent adherence to AAMI, CDC, CMS, DOT, OSHA, and accreditation standards
across all sites
Oversee audit readiness, inspection outcomes, and regulatory compliance across functions
Standardize workflows, documentation, and process execution across facilities and teams
Monitor performance trends across SPD, logistics, and facilities, proactively addressing risks
Leadership Development & Talent Management
Mentor and coach site-level leaders across all operational functions
Build leadership bench strength and succession pipelines in partnership with HR and Talent
Drive consistent performance management and accountability frameworks
Support hiring strategy and onboarding for key operational leadership roles
Quality, Throughput & Continuous Improvement
Own regional performance metrics across quality, turnaround time, throughput, and service
reliability
Lead root-cause analysis and cross-functional corrective actions
Identify and scale best practices across sites and functions
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency, and outcomes
Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration
Serve as the regional operational leader in collaboration with clinical partners and health
systems
Align SPD, Transportation, and Facilities with customer expectations and service-level
commitments
Partner with internal leadership across Operations, Logistics, and Facilities to drive system-wide
improvements
Represent the region in executive-level discussions, planning, and growth initiatives
Education:
Certification in sterile processing (CRCST or equivalent strongly preferred)
10+ years of operational experience, with at least 5+ years in multi-site leadership roles
Demonstrated success leading across multiple functions (SPD, logistics, facilities, or similar)
Skills:
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards across healthcare operations and transporenvironments
Proven ability to build leaders and drive performance through others
Experience scaling operations in high-growth or multi-site environments
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and operational leadership skills
