Role Overview:
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients. This includes performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while adhering to department protocols and medical staff guidelines. The position involves assisting physicians with various procedures and delivering care using specialized respiratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.

Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.

Maintain airways and manage ventilators.

Perform arterial line insertions and intubations.

Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac, and pulmonary stress tests.

Draw and analyze blood gases for diagnostic purposes.

Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services.
Qualifications & Skills:

Licensing & Certifications:
-
Must have NBRC RRT Certification (attach certification to submission).

Must have an Idaho RT License (attach to resume).

Must have ACLS and BLS Certifications (must be through the American Heart Association, attach to submission).

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience.

Skills:
-
Strong clinical knowledge of cardiopulmonary care.

Proficient in respiratory equipment and ventilator management.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
