Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibility of Extension)
Pay rate: $21.80/hr. on W2
Shift Schedule:
Position Overview:
The Phlebotomist II / Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the organization, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience. This role is responsible for collecting blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and confidentiality.
The PSR II works directly with patients of all ages, creating an atmosphere of trust and professionalism while explaining procedures and performing venipuncture in a skilled and compassionate manner. Assignments may include work in a patient service center, physician’s office, or other settings based on business needs.

- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Position Overview:

This role is responsible for collecting blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and confidentiality.
The PSR II works directly with patients of all ages, creating an atmosphere of trust and professionalism while explaining procedures and performing venipuncture in a skilled and compassionate manner. Assignments may include work in a patient service center, physician’s office, or other settings based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections following established procedures and safety protocols
- Collect and prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures clearly and maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
- Ensure patient confidentiality and accurate documentation of patient information
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards
- Work effectively with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional phlebotomy experience
- Active Phlebotomy Certification (required)
- Proven proficiency in pediatric and geriatric blood draws
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in a patient-facing role
Work Environment:
- Patient Service Center, physician’s office, or other assigned clinical settings
- Direct patient interaction throughout the shift
