Position Overview:
The Material Handler supports warehouse operations by executing shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment of goods and materials. This role ensures accurate and timely processing while maintaining high-quality standards and safety in varied temperature environments.

Position Overview:
The Material Handler supports warehouse operations by executing shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment of goods and materials. This role ensures accurate and timely processing while maintaining high-quality standards and safety in varied temperature environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, sort, count, and store items per procedures and customer requirements
- Receive incoming goods, verify type, quantity, and documentation
- Operate distribution equipment safely and efficiently (training provided)
- Work in temperature-controlled environments:
- Room Temp: 59–86°F
- Cold Room: 36–46°F
- Freezer Room: -4 – 23°F
- Maintain accurate inventory records and follow proper shipping/receiving protocols
- Ensure daily punctuality and consistent attendance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (logistics/life sciences preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain schedule reliability
- Experience with powered industrial trucks (at varying heights)
- Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Outlook, shipping software)
Physical & Work Requirements:
- Ability to lift/push/pull 25–50 lbs; frequent walking, standing, reaching, and climbing
- Exposure to moderate to high noise levels
- May handle packaged hazardous materials
- Flexible to shift changes, overtime, and occasional local travel
- Must maintain performance under potential physical and operational stress
